Need some advice on how to cook/prep meals for the entire week. What kind of foods do you make? I am not the greatest cook so I find myself eating out a lot especially for lunch at work. Any good tips on how to make some changes would be greatly appreciated!

Meatballs!! I make these all the time, specifically the spicy meatballs. Roast some veggies like squash or zucchini and weigh it out and stick in a few containers for easy lunch!

Also, you can never go wrong with chicken. Cook a big batch Sunday and portion it out in your containers with a veggie and/or rice (or sweet potatoes are good too).

Egg salad, wraps, pre-portioned leftovers...so many options!!

I do a bunch of protein for the week, chicken, fish, beef. My carb is usually rice because it's easy or sweet potatoes. And frozen veggies or salads during the week to round it out. Separate it all in tupperware and choose what I'm feeling like that morning for the rest of the week. Pinterest and Instragram have meal prep ideas also.

My meal prep sound a lot like VegasFit... I spend Sunday or Monday night cooking for the week.

I forget to take my lunch most days so I'm eating out a lot. I tend get a chicken or steak salad with dressing on the side. I opt to low carb since I can't control the portion size and I'll eat it if its in front of me. I'll eat more carbs for dinner if I'm still hungry.

I keep breakfast simple with a packet of oatmeal. I wash all my fruits before putting them into the fridge so they are ready to eat.

I prep everything on my days off to get me through my shift work.

    - salad jars (do a search on pinterest, you wont be disappointed! Just remember to put the lettuce/spinach etc on top!!)
    - breakfast jars - easy for oats, chia buckwheat and can be made for cold or warm mornings, lots of options for allergies as well
    - snack wise - I cut up lettuce and carrot and store submerged in water, easy to grabngo when working around the house or chuck in a container for snacks

The day before I go back to work, I boil a dozen eggs, grill or bake 4 or 5 chicken breasts, make broccoli, rice and/or salads and divide them up for the week or I'll use leftovers. For example, some weeks instead of the above, it will be leftover chili soup, or an extra turkey burger (no bun) that I've cooked with a side of cottage cheese. The eggs make a great snack too.

I try to focus on high protein and veggies and supplement with Quest Bars and protein shakes, depending on what my day looks like. You can also cook a pork roast in the crockpot and leave 1/2 of it without any sauce and then pull the other half and add sauce to make pulled pork.
