Adrenal Fatigue/Hypothyroid

I would love to talk to others with adrenal fatigue. What do you do about exercise? "We" aren't supposed to be exercising. I get terrible muscle pain. It's impossible to lose weight without exercise and being hypothyroid, I have no metabolism! My cortisol levels are almost non existent. Anyone else?

There is a hypo/hyperthyroid group where you might find similar situation individuals easier. I only have hypo so I really can't offer any suggestions.0

Hi Dear!
I am recovering from adrenal fatigue. Its easy to hate your body for not being there for you when you want to work out hard and look your best. This is what happened to me. But the lesson for us from the fatigue is our body telling us to make big changes for the better in the long term.
Lifestyle changes such as getting out of stressful jobs and toxic relationships of any kind free your mind from stress. That way your body no longer keeps asking for cortisol to deal with it.
AF affects all aspects of your life. Be patient. Its not cancer. With care you can get better. Only way out is self love and compassion.
Start by going into survival mode> Sleep as much as you like. Make sure you get 8 or more hours of sleep.
Do not get tempted into high sugars and glutens. Initially I quit gluten and high protein food. I went vegetarian for about 2 months.
Workouts included really long walks 2-4 miles a day listening to soothing music and enjoying nature.
After a month I started jogging. My protein sources was vegan protein powder. Really clean. Also supplements - All herbal Gaia adrenal support prescibed by my naturopath.
I also had hypothyroid at the same time. I took medicine for 6 months and that is fixed now.
Dont have coffee after 2 PM. Have tea. I have like less than 1/2 a cup of coffee in the morning .. that too I started back on it after a break of 4 months.
