Juice Cleanse??

So I keep hearing about juice cleanses and how great they are, I am told I would lose weight even faster if I did one. I think I'm doing pretty well and I find it hard to believe they are healthy not to mention a set up for failure if done with a huge goal in mind and if you are considering doing it for months. Is there something I'm missing?

Replies

  • Do not do it for months... It's meant to be a short-term thing.

If you've successfully lost 44 lbs, why do this now?

My point exactly. I just keep hearing about how it's such a great thing but I know it's not and I know if I do this the healthy way it may take longer but in the long run it will likely stay off since I have changed my mind set, you can't drink juice forever. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't alone. :drinker:

Go with your gut instinct. It's pretty much a waste of time.

You've lost 44 pounds and now you're going to consider something like a cleanse? Keep doing what you're doing. It's working.

Don't torture yourself with it. Any weight lost will be gained back once normal eating resumes,

I would NEVER do it, I think it would back fire for me because I would fail and I would become frustrated plus I am not a lover of any juice, I water down the small amounts I do drink now.

Someone tried to compare another persons weight loss to mine after they lost a few pounds in a few weeks, I may or may not have told them that it was an insult
