I'm not at my goal weight by any means but I'm ok with that and I feel amazing with who I am but sometimes there's things that reiterate that you're doing something right..how do you measure your weight success??

Mine was getting checked out by a woman and she gave me a "how YOU doin'" look. Everyone knows women are the more difficult sex to please. Hahaha!!

Ok, I personally measure by how I feel about myself first...it changes the outlook, confidence and how you feel about yourself in total. Its even better when someone else notices it though!

How I look.... and my body fat tester. Usually when I notice a difference in the mirror my body fat tester says it too. :) I hate the scale.

^^Pretty much this. I know where I started and what my goals are so I am the 1st to see the results.

That's awesome! And I'd be lying if I said I don't like when people notice my progress. I certainly do like it, because that means that it's gotten noticeable enough that other people notice it.

But at the same time, I try my best to constantly reduce my desire for external validation. It's amazing how the farther you get on your journey, the less you care about what other people think...but at the same time, you become even more appreciative when people do notice. If that sounds kinda contradictory, so be it...but I think it makes sense the way I said it.

As for me, I've had some bumps the past 4 weeks since starting the stronglifts program...it's hard to figure out how many calories I'm burning during my workouts, and as a result I haven't gained any weight in a whole month. But at the same time, I'm grateful because I'm gaining strength at a pretty rapid pace. I know that once I find the optimal "eat back calories", my bulk phase will resume and I'll continue gaining weight and will gain strength at an even more rapid pace. At that point, I expect to start seeing huge physique changes. Can't wait!!

Compliments always make me feel good........It makes it all worth it. I had an interesting conversation with my girlfriend, she said " I dont't work out to impress guys, I do it so I look better than my girlfriends........ I think a lot of women do that.

    Lmaooo really???? That's interesting.

Speaking of compliments...to men, catcalling in the street is not a compliment!!! I hate it and its not the best way to get a woman's attention.

I think one of things that really makes me happy is when my pants fit perfectly at the waist. I have gained and lost but refused to change my waist size in pants. So when I put on a few pounds, I am literally sucking my gut in to get into my pants. When I can easily wear them, Im feeling good

I had some girls in a car passing by yell "nice butt" once in college. LOL. But I wasn't even working out much at that point, so it didn't really make me feel great. I guess that's similar to the catcalling that you girls get.
