To eat or not to eat?

Normally I eat around 1500 cals per day, but some days I'm just not hungry ( I normally have a great appetite) my question is, do I make myself eat to get in all my calories or is it ok to be low once in awhile? Don't want to mess with my metabolism by not eating enough..

Unless you have some sort of known eating disorder or medical condition, no point in eating when you're not hungry. On the flip side, if you're hungrier than usual on other days, go with it -- the long-term average intake is way more important than the day-to-day intake.0

I agree that as long as it's just once in a while you should be fine. But if it becomes a habit you might want to start planning your meals better or incorporating more calorie dense foods into your diet.0

When I get a cold, I am never hungry, so I just roll with it. I know that I'll make up for it later.0
