Good PMS Snackfood?

As I'm sitting here, potentially eating an entire jar of pickles (which seemed preferable to a bag of chips or what I really wanted, a large fries from McDonalds), I'm curious what other's have used as snack substitutes during this hormonal time of the month?

What I do...
sweet cravings:
- dark chocolate
- chocolate mousse made from avocado
- smoothies made with banana, cocoa powder, etc
- paleo banoffee pie. Not at all calorie-counting friendly due to large amounts of coconut cream & dates used.
salty cravings:
- make some chips, roast in oven.
- kale chips were surprisingly tasty when I tried them out
- eat a bigass steak0 -
a baked potatoe is wonderful for pms. it has the carbs (sugars) that your body is craving. pair it with salsa. so yummy and good for you. carrots too. I focus on higher proein and fiber on these days with tons of water. I looked up good pms foods on google and found out about the potatoes.. there were other foods on there but I am picky so that is all I remember. limit the fatty carbs on these days. they only make cravings and bloating and cramps even more. nobody wants that0
