How many calories do I reAlly need?

Hello, I am looking for suggestions to find the best way to figure out how many calories I really need. I do quite a bit of physical activity at work and am sure I over eat to compensate lAter. WhAts the best way for me to figure out what I need to be making up for eating wise without blowing my 1200 net goal (as according to what I put into fitness pal).
