Hi, I'm 43 yrs old and a working single mom, I have 2 very active boys and workout weekly. I recently got back from vacation and vowed that I need to get into shape, gain muscle and just tone up overall. I've read that muscle conditioning really is the ticket for getting in shape and maintaining that much needed muscle in your 40's.
So if any of you have any great workouts for women, mind you I'm a weakling and have not lifted weights for sometime, so I will have to start out slow.
Thanks!

If you want to work out but not go to the gym...I follow videos by Cathe Friedrich. She is awesome. Everything is explained well with proper form demonstrated... I started using body weight (squats, lunges) and some light weights (upper body) and just added more weight as I could. Jari Love also has good ones.0
