Hey, new guy around here. Looking to lose 26kg (57lbs)

Hey everyone, I'm Pranavtastic (Aka Pranav). I'm looking forward to losing 26 kg or 57 lbs if you prefer. Would love to have some friends or you know guides etc, on how I can do it more effectively. Specially coming from people with the same goal.

My goal is "Losing 26 kg or 57 lbs within 5 months tops"

I'm doing this because my weight tends to lower my confidence, and also it's hard to fit into my clothes. I like to look good, and I like being dynamic so I believe that a body more in shape would help me achieve what I desire.

Nice to meet all of you and once again, would love to get all the help, and friends necessary to help me out. :)

Hey bro. Good on you for making a change. I would suggest that you maybe rethink that goal of 57 lbs in 5 months though. It is possible, but the higher caloric deficit you have, the higher chance that your body will eat away your muscle along with fat. Plus, it gets harder to drop the weight as you get closer to your goal. I'm looking to drop another 60, but I'm guessing I'll be done by early next year at my rate. Good luck dude.

Also @ComradeTovarich, I would love to take my time honestly, i totally understand your point, but unfortunately that's the much amount of time I've managed to get. Between this period of March to July/Mid August, I will be at home, no work nothing. This is the best settings possible for me to do everything I can in order to lose my weight. After this, I'll need to step into the world of work, young adult, and everything that comes along. I need to do this weight loss in order to feel both, physically and mentally strong. I want to feel confident and like a winner. I've always felt a bit self conscious and i wouldn't want to have a bit of excess weight after so much pain and struggle to undermine me. (If you see what I mean.) I understand that it would be very hard but... It's not impossible right? (Plus I don't have too much muscles either. I want to lose my weight first, then build up muscles. My main concern's about losing it first and feeling more confident this way.)
