Questions about eating calories gained from exercise

I've been dieting fairly consistently for about two years. Exercise has been sporadic until recently. I haven't been eating most of the calories I gain from exercising. Is this a must? I feel like I get plenty of food in my day. I am never hungry. I eat lots of veggies and get at least one or two servings of dairy a day. Even on exercise days, I don't eat much more than 1200 calories. Should I be making myself eat all the extra exercise calories, even if I don't feel like I need it?

Yes esp if you are only eating 1200 calories a day...the exercise calories puts you below the lowest recommended amount of calories for a woman.
It's easy to get over 1200 calories a day...you know that or you wouldn't be overweight.
Feeling like you need it and actually needing it are two different things.
Your body needs food to fuel exercise and daily life...it needs the nutrients, vitamins, protiens, fats and carbs to operate.0 -
Thanks! I've been doing some research and that seems to be the general consensus. I will start adding them in, regardless.0
