Total calories intake versus glycemic index

Hi,

I have tried to log all my food for months and despite being close to 1200 cal/days, I have lost few pounds only.

Therefore, I came to the conclusion that it's not just a matter of calories intake per day but also of glycemic index per meal/collation. Therfore, I am trying to cut all white (rice, potatoes, pasta) and to stick on 1200 cal/day.

Does soemone had the some problem then me?
