I'm 18, male, 6ft 3 and 202lbs.
I found out that my BMR is 2142 so if I'm trying to lose 2 stones in 2 months how many calories should I be eating per day?
Also I'm working out 6 days a week (cycling and dumbbells workout) and drinking plenty of water and sticking to a healthy diet if that helps, thanks.

    According to your stats you:

Maintain your current weight at 2585 calories per day with zero exercise.

To lose 1lb per week you need to cut 500 calories a day, so 2085 calories a day with no exercise.

If you exercise you will need to eat more.

I hate to say it but 28lbs (2 stone) in 2 months is very unrealistic.

Even if you tried for 2lbs per week, 1000 calorie deficit a day, 1585 calories, you'd lose 16lbs and probably a good amount of muscle with it.

This. That rate of weight loss is neither realistic or healthy. You need to consume 2085cal plus a portion (about 50%) of your exercise calories to fuel your body & prevent muscle loss.
  • Thanks I'll try sticking to 2000 calories diet. Also am I right in saying that if I burned 500 calories from a workout, I need to eat an extra 500 calories for that day?
