Crunch gym - looking for reviews

Hi all,

The local paper ran a story about Crunch fitness adding a new group fitness class, which made me look up the gym. One opened up in my area on recently, and I'm considering joining.

I'm looking for anyone's experience with this franchise -- I definitely don't need a fancy gym; in fact I don't even belong to a gym now (my apartment building has a gym with a few treadmills and weight machines), but I'm looking into group fitness classes and this gym is only $20/month.

Err scratch that, its $40/month. Not sure how I feel about the fact that their website says one price and their Assistant Manager says another..
