understanding this healthy thingy

Hi, I am an ex-skinny person. Don't hate me, please.
My family always warned me that this day would come when I had to watch what I eat and care about it. Dang it!

So I am trying to loose at least 10 to 15 lbs. by May, but I really need to loose about 20 lbs.

I don't really know where to start or what to do. All anybody will ever tell me is "eat more fruits and vegetables" and "exercise"
"Yea, thanks"

So if anyone wants to be friends with someone who is not to willing to exercise and has no idea what the difference is between a carb and a calorie then we should be friends.

Beckie

The only way to lose weight is to eat fewer calories than you burn. It is that simple.

I've never weighed more than 130 besides when I was pregnant. I also see myself starting to have to work out and watch what I eat. It is hard to stay motivated. I quit drinking soda which seems to help a bit and I watch my calories.... the working out I try to stay consistent but life gets too busy!. I know I shouldn't use that as an excuse but it really does. Good luck to you!

Simple equation: Calories In < Calories Out

You might be able to get away with not exercising for a short period of time but eventually you're going to have to add it in as a complement to nutrition. Your body WILL NOT change unless you challenge it.

I hope you can get to a point of commitment; it's the only way you'll achieve lasting success.

    Good luck! :o)
