Ok, this I haven't done, only tomato soup. My boyfriend was from Dallas, so I'm not sure I'd say it's a Canadian thing. I do put it on my scrambled eggs, too, and I dip my tater tots in ketchup, but I have never ever put it on Tyler's Tater Tot Casserole. Ever. :flowerforyou:

The ketchup is for dipping your grilled cheese in.

I think I was in my twenties before I saw someone eat grilled cheese without ketchup.

And I am going to totally bash poutine, but only because I don't like gravy or potatoes,
Adding the two together is even worse, so Gross.

Lay's ketchup chips are good. As for ketchup on mac and cheese, only on KD, never on homemade!

ALWAYSSS on homemade. With Frank's Red Hot or it's not *kitten*.

Tabasco or Sriracha and mac and cheese go together like peanut butter and chocolate though.

What the hell is wrong with you people?

Ketchup is for fries, hot dogs, and hamburgers. Maybe chicken nuggets if you're a little kid.

You're supposed to put steak sauce on eggs, not ketchup!

No ketchup on Kraft dinner. No ketchup on grilled cheese either (but pickles and mayo, hell yes).

Could someone please pass the ketchup chips and poutine?

Yes, my Uncle got me started doing that when I was a little tyke and it stuck, come to think of it he might have done it just to annoy my mother! LoL
I like it best when the mac & cheese is a left over and reheated with a little ketchup on the side!

THIS and only then - you beat me to my own opinion!

People have different tastes. Different food combinations may taste different to some people.

Mmmmmm grilled cheese dipped in ketchup, so goodddd. Also on scrambled eggs or omelettes, other times BBQ sauce. Basically I may just like condiments more than actual food...

i'm a horseradish person personally but nothing goes on mac n cheese other than more cheese and grilled cheese only goes into a bowl of soup. Though i do sometimes put ketchup on my sauerkraut or scrambled eggs but it's usually horseradish or that Taco Bell bold and creamy sauces.

I just made a grilled cheese with full intention of dunking it into tomato soup or ketchup like I always do... WE HAVE NEITHER! :grumble: :explode:
