Hi,
Just joined MFP today. My goal is to gain 10 lbs. I'm 52 and have had to watch my weight in my later years. At 50, I began taking hypothyroid meds and lost weight quickly and my energy improved drastically.
Now I can't keep the weight. Not sure why yet. Not a bad problem to have, right?! Anyway, for ex., in the morning I could weigh129 by the end of the day 131, and by morning 129 again. I'm supposed to eat 2000 calories per day to gain 5lb in a month - but's not working. I quit going to the gym - 3 days/week to keep calories on...
Well that's my story and I'm sticking to it. LOL
I'm hoping MFP can help.

i wouldn't stop going to the gym . That is very healthy and good for everything. I would just maybe increase your calories? Talk to your endocrinologist and see what they think0
