    Aerosmith 1976 at the Boston Garden. Still have my ticket stub which I paid $6.50 for.

    Wow!! So cool. I saw them once, probably ten or so years ago...paid a lot more than that!

    When I was 7 or 8 my parents took me to the Indiana State Fair to see Olivia Newton-John in the mid 70's
    First concert with friends was REO Speedwagon on New Year's Eve 1982 when I was 15.

    My first proper concert was Smashing Pumpkins in 1993, but I went to the Reading Festival earlier that year and saw Bad Brains, Tool, Babes in Toyland and Porno For Pyros. I refuse to count various radio roadshows that I attended in previous years, where every act mimed and the acts were too crap to mention.

    First concert I attended was That Damn Show in 99 or 98 i believe. Deftones and Kid Rock were the headliners. My most remembered concert was Ozzfest 2000. I was a rocker then but not so much now. Ozzfests were the best concerts ever.

    Rush - Way back in '84. We had 3rd row seats. I had listened to Rush before except Tom Sawyer when it came on the radio. My uncle won 3rd row tickets of the radio and took me. Been a huge fan of Rush ever since.

    Here's a tough confession: I just remembered my real first concert was not Green Day. It was Weird Al at some state fair when I was quite young.

    Mine was .....Brittany spears. 2002-3 I think. IDK. My uncle wanted to go so he bought us all tickets. I was 12-13 at the time so it seemed exciting. I have been dying to see NIN!

    The Bangles, part of a 'rising star' concert series in Spokane, WA in 1986. The opening act was some band no one I knew had heard of called EIEIO (like old mcdonald). They're apparently still around. I didn't like them at the time, but I was 17 and hadn't developed musically, so they may be some quirky awesomeness.

    I miss concerts at Kemper!


    I wasn't allowed to go to concerts growing up, so my first one wasn't until I went to college. Monster of Rock 1992 at Arrowhead stadium, featuring Body Count, Guns N Roses. and Metallica.

    Creedence Clearwater Revival at Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto in September 1970. Booker T & The MGs were also on the bill.

    And I also saw BOC in around 1973. They were the first band I saw that had a laser light show.
