I always knew my scale was off, its extremely old but all i had to work with. my friends and i always called it "the friendly scale" because it knocked off a good ten pounds lol. well, apparently that changed and i was unaware of it.

My friend gave me a new scale last night, and i couldn't wait to get on it this morning. i was pretty sure it would tell me more than what i thought i weighed, but i had no idea so much more. apparently the friendly scale got even friendlier, and started knocking off twenty pounds... i was expecting maybe a five pound difference at most, but something close! not ten pounds heavier!!!

I know that i've still lost a total of 25 pounds, in reality nothing has changed. but i still feel like i'm taking a giant step back. part of me is more motivated by this, and the other of me wants to throw a fit and take a long break... but i know if i stop for even a day, i'll give up completely. i can't break routine. ugh....

Your "friendly scale" sounds like an *kitten* to me lol. If you have already lost 25 lbs that is wonderful! Congrats and well done! You're not taking a giant step back you are just coming to terms with the reality that you have been relying on a piece of equipment that was faulty. Don't take a break that isn't going to do you any good. Just keep doing what you're doing and start measuring yourself.

I do take measurements. this up coming Monday is actually when i update my photo dairy. it's complete with pictures, weight, measurements for my arms, hips, waist, and thighs. luckily i only have one entry so far, so i dont have to start over on it. i just need to change the weight. It just doesnt help that i've been having a hard time losing lately because i have to eat more ( i wasnt getting enough calories before) and i guess im not burning enough for what im eating now. still trying to find that good medium, but i havent been gaining from eating more. so i must be close lol.

don't worry, it's the loss that matters not the actual absolute number. 25 is pretty sweet.

    as you were, now.. :)

Thanks :] I've got to pull myself together, and i've got to start working harder. I guess this is the wake up call that i needed to push myself a little more.
