Ketosis Question

Hi. My goal is to lose 30 lbs. My question is, how long until the body is in ketosis? Will this be effective if I do it for two weeks straight? If I break my diet to eat, let's say, three bowls of pasta and 3 beers, will this destroy all my progress, or just set me back a couple days? What does the body do with all those carbs? And then how long until ketosis again? Thank you I really appreciate any feedback. I want to be able to diet but really go all out on a cheat day, but still see progress.

    Ketosis doesn't offer any significant advantage for fat loss holding cals and protein constant, save possibly being more satiating due to higher protein intake

    It will stop ketosis and you'll gain water weight. You can get back into ketosis after a few days.
