Calorie Counting

Hey! So I've always counted calories, and there are days where I don't eat much more than 1000 (before an exercise I do).
I know this is way below the normal for woman, but I honestly am not hungry.
I usually eat when I'm hungry and stop when I'm full, but I can't make the amounts that are recommended.
If I go over 1000 I gain weight...
Is this bad?

It seems like your metabolism may have adapted from the chronic (and severe) calorie deficit. I wouldn't advise continuing to eat just 1,000 calories a day for much longer. What you should look into is reverse dieting -- slowly re-adding calories into your diet and letting your metabolism catch up.
That's what I did when I was dieting sub 1500 for a while. I began noticing my weight loss was stalling. I'm still in a cut phase, but my calories are now at about 1750-1850. My strength has increased in the gym and my fat loss is at a more desirable rate than before.
Re-introduce 150 to maybe 200 calories into your diet and try to hit that target for a few weeks. Take weekly averages of your weight and monitor your progress. Weigh yourself every morning post pee and post poop (if you can manage the latter).0
