I have had a little higher than normal blood pressure for about 6 months. I low carb for 8 days and now my pressure is within normal range. I dont watch my salt either. Only difference so far is not eating microwave foods.

These all sound like great things that very well might have helped your blood pressure! I know mine was a little high a few months back and I started semi regularly exorcising and eating a little better and mine dropped!0

There are several things that may have occurred.
You reduced your sodium intake which may account for 4-5 points in systolic BP.
You lost weight (either water or fat) that decreased the pressure on your circulatory system,
You decreased your stress levels psychologically,
You started exercising more to meet the levels you used to meet
There are many reasons it could have happened, and it would be good to identify them.
That said, I find a higher fibre diet to help.
I'm getting older, 52.0
