Mostly so my friends list can see them but just in case anyone else is interested too. It was AMAZING!! Had a wonderful time and we got to see the Northern Lights too. Although didn't get photos as my camera wasn't very good at night shots and I didn't have a tripod.

    I went to Iceland in 2012 and it was simply amazing. I'd love to go back some day!

    Thanks everyone. This was a surprise trip for my husbands 40th birthday but I enjoyed it as much as him, it was somewhere he had always wanted to go.

    We had a brilliant time and will definitely go back one day.

    Simply awesome! I lived in Iceland for two years and loved every minute of it! Smartest thing I did was take a 4wd Blazer and a Nikon FG camera with me! My second daughter was born there, in fact.
