Half marathon

Hi everyone,
Some friends are running a half marathon in the beginning of December and asked me to join them. I love to run and used to run an 8 minute mile in college. Now that I'm 40 and just getting back into the swing of things I need something to help me pace myself to do the marathon. As of right now, I can run for about 50 minutes straight and do about a 12-14 mile. ( Sometimes I go by miles and sometimes I go by minutes.) I just don't know what to do to make sure I can make the whole race. Anyone know of a good app or something that can give me some type of guideline?? Thanks for your help!

Have a look at micoach.com (by Adidas).
It has a whole heap of training programs (including 1/2 marathon) that you can tailor to your current fitness level. It also has a free app for iPhone, Blackberry or Samsung F110.
I did the Assessment Workout yesterday and found it to be a good app.0 -

Sorry can't give you a link, but I seriously believe ANYONE can run a half marathon without stopping if you run SLOWLY enough ... even on minimal training. You'll definitely be able to go the distance if you don't start too fast. Good luck.0
