Anyone tried quinoa flour?

If so, what is it like? I have heard it is bitter with a strong flavour, which is off-putting but I would like to make quinoa chips and tortillas.

Bob's Red Mill suggests replacing 1/2 of regular flour - no mention of taste change but the price would deter me at $10.00 a pound! I'll just use it in salads and such. I have added the flakes to homemade "protein bars" with very positive results according to those who imbibe.0

Well perhaps I can use quinoa and some other flour - such as teff or chickpea. It is rather expensive!! But I do think it'd be worth it.0
