Couch to 5k and Strong Lifts

Hi everyone,

I'm on my last day of week 2 in Strong Lifts and I'm really enjoying it.

I do want to add some more cardio though for cardio fitness. I did C25k for about three weeks last semester but fell off the bandwagon. I'm looking to start it again and I was wondering what you all thought.

Is adding 3 C25K workouts to much to the 3 Strong Lifts workout I already do?

I know that doing cardio after lifting is the best, but would you recommend that I do that, or should I run on days I do not lift?

Thanks!

Personally I'd avoid doing two sessions in one day, so plan yourself a single off day per week. Nowadays I do two bodyweight and five run sessions per week so I double up on my very short recovery run of 3-5k. I resistance train afterwards but that's a consequence of the running being my priority.

Okay, I'm thinking that doing 6 days on, 1 day off will be best at the moment too.
