I havent been at the gym for a week and have lost 2 pounds, is this muscle?

When you lose weight, you lose muscle among other things. The percentage of muscle lost depends on a multitude of other information.0 -
Chances are it was mostly water. Your muscles retain a lot of water while they heal, so when you give them an extended time to recuperate they will not need to retain the water anymore and you will drop some weight. Don't be surprised if, when you get back into your routine, you gain the same ~2 pounds back.0
