Is this normal?

Ok, i think the answer is "yes, because you weighed 270" lol, but i have to ask. I started at 270 on Feb 24th. I set a 2 pound a week goal, so 1800 calories per day. I set my carbs to 20%, or under 90 and have stuck to that. a few days over cal and carb, a few under, even had some whiskey and a beer here and there. I have been doing at least 30 mins of elliptical 6 days a week. I just weighed 261.2!!! I assume its just the normal "The weight flies off at the beginning"? Others experience this drastic of a drop? I feel awesome. Just ordered Ketostix to see if my carb intake is too high.
