Hi, I have just started an aerobics program. I am terribly out of shape so I am starting with beginners low impact. Is beginners low impact the same as low impact when adding the cardiovascular on MFP?? Thanks

Low impact for MFP refers to your heart rate level for your workout. Low impact aerobics class is more the class description than about your heart rate. You can take what's called a low impact class but burn a lot of calories if you're kicking up your workout level.
I'd recommend investing in a heart rate monitor so you always know what calories you burn for your workouts. There are some cheap ones on ebay and other used equipment websites. I swear by mine. I wasn't making any progress until I started using one since I always eat back my calories.0 -
Thanks so much!0
