setting my app to maintain weight

Hello all. After several months at 1200 calories per day, I am down to my goal weight of 57 kilos. I have now changed my profile settings to 'maintain weight' and it automatically upped my daily calorie limit to 1530 per day. When I eat 1530 calories, at the end of the day when I click 'finish logging for today' it tells me that I will weigh 58.6 in 5 weeks!
I want to maintain weight, not gain! Does MyFitnessPal not calculate for me the number of calories I need to eat to maintain my weight?
Please help!

well...i don't think it's smart enough to take this into account, but i just read that to maintain at your goal weight after eating at a deficit you'll probably need to actually aim for about 5 pounds UNDER goal weight so that when your water/glycogen stores replenish due to no longer being at a deficit and just eating maintenance, you'll end up back up around your goal weight0
