Months of overeating!

So for the past few months life has been a little hectic for me, and I haven't been watching what I eat. If I had to make a guess, I'd say I've been eating upwards of 2000 calories a day, a good half of those calories being from junk.
I'm only 5'4 and not very active, so I know 2000 is too much. Previously I was on 1300 calories a day and maintained a healthy weight quite easily (119 lbs). Haven't weighed myself recently so I'm not sure exactly how much I've gained. I'm assuming not too much, because it's not super noticeable, just carrying a little more weight around my hips/waist area.
I'm just wondering, if I went back to my previous routine of 1300 calories a day and eating healthy foods, would the weight drop back off?
Thanks

It should, if you are not gaining very much at 2000 calories/day. It'll also help if you start an exercise routine. I would recommend though, if you can eat more and lose weight, do it. It'll help down the road if you hit a plateau by giving you more room to make adjustments in your diet.
If you have more questions, I'd be happy to help.
