    For me it's the places that claim to be "New York style" and as a native New Yorker I get my hopes up thinking I will get a taste of home, only to be disappointed EVERY TIME. :sad:

    Me too. There is nothing that is really New York style in North Carolina. NOTHING! ARG

    People in NC complain a lot.

    In Illinois I went to a place that claimed Chicago style gourmet hotdogs and they were crap. Like a $.99 pack of Fun Dogs crap.
