Whoa- legs won't stop shaking!

So, I got it in my head today to climb from the bottom of my highish-rise apartment building to the top without stopping to rest. 14 flights of stairs!!! I managed it, but now my legs won't stop trembling still after 45 minutes. I'm having to walk carefully 'cause I'm afraid I might fall. Is that level of exertion okay for my muscles? And is there something I can do to make them stop shaking?
