How to log food when switching time zones? [confused]

I travel a lot across the atlantic, and as I'm switching time zones, i get confused under which day to log my food.

For example, I leave the eastern time zone around 4pm on a friday, I get to london the next day (flight takes ~5 hours; so it is around 2am in london) and it is now 5 hours ahead (so that means it is 9pm in the eastern time zone)

how do i log food so that im on the right day?

has anyone else experienced this before? (people who travel a lot)

Thanks

MFP app should adjust to the right timezone when synchronizing

I can't use 4G while flying. There's no signal that high up

I continue to log one days food until I have a sleep period. I switch from days to nights and back every week. For example, today I am still logging yesterdays food. I will sleep and start logging today's food tonight when I wake and eat.

This works well when you have 24 hour periods with no sleep as well. I tend to go over calorie allowance on my 24 hour day, but the next day I am only awake for 10 or so hours, so it balances out in the long run. My body is used to consuming between 400-600 calories every 3-4 hours, so I just carry on as if nothing has changed.

    Hope that helps...

Don't sweat it. Just log when you get a chance - over one day under the next just take the average / total over a 48 hour period.
