Have you not made it yet. It would have been quicker to pop to the shops and buy some butter!!

And if you had walked then screw the extra calories - you're just eating them back.

I live 120km from the nearest supermarket and i can't drive my car right now because i put the wrong octane gas in it, so im going to use the pam and i will report back and post my results.

'i put the wrong octane gas in it'

Have you not learnt your lesson already?

Maybe make something else for lunch?

    NO.

Pam contains "propellant", which is food-grade alcohol, nitrous oxide, carbon dioxide, and/or propane.

Do you really want to ingest that as a substitute for butter just so you can eat a ton of crap??? :noway:

And you think Pam tastes better? Please don't say you think it is low cal.

    label046791.gif

    1minute spray = 37.8g of fat = 340calories

    much less than

150g of butter which is 121.5g of fat and 1094 calories

Get a timer, spray for 166 seconds.

How do i convert grams into seconds?

To get the 121.5g of fat you'd need 166 seconds of Pam Spray.

Make the recipe without the butter.
    Divide it into 10 servings.
Eat it in 1/4 serving bites.
That would equate to 4 seconds of Pam Spray Per bite.

Take a bite followed by 4 seconds of Pam Spray in your mouth.

Pam is just for creating a no-stick surface. It is not for replacing butter or margarine or oil in recipes.

in recipe? Recipe calls for 150g of butter. Can I just spray pam for a minute or two into the other ingredients as a replacement for butter?

Why would you want to replace butter - just make it fit into your calories (butter tastes better).

Don't have any butter and i also plan on eating the entire batch
I suspect that replacing the butter with Pam will solve your problem of eating the entire batch.

I would normally agree with you - my spelling is carp.

    But on this occasion:

    learn

    /ləːn/

    verb

past tense: learnt; past participle: learnt.

Also, "learnt" is absolutely a word.

Also, "shan't," which I am going to make a concerted effort to use more often.

Ignore everyone in this thread that says you can't use Pam as a butter replacement.

You can, and I'm going to teach you how.

The recipe needs 121.5g of fat from the butter.

That's about 166 seconds of Pam Spray.

Make the recipe without Pam or butter.

Divide the recipe into 10 servings. (166/10) That's About 16 seconds of Pam Spray per Serving.

Eat each serving in 1/4 serving sized bites. (16/4) That's 4 seconds of Pam Spray Per bite.

Follow each 1/4 serving sized bite with 4 seconds of Pam Spray.
    Trust me bro.

I know this sounds odd but going by avi's, I'm sure most of you have eaten a pie and sprayed whip cream directly into your mouths.

    It's the same concept.
