Okay, so my kids were upset because they'd eaten chicken for the upmteenth time! So, they wanted something cheesy and delicious, and they chose pizza! They both know I'm trying to get fit for my birthday, but I figured, "hey, why not!" Well, my precious 10-year-old daughter came up with a FABULOUS meal plan, and I just thought I'd share!
PIZZA CHIPS!   We took pita bread and cut the bread in half (for the life of me I cannot remember the brand name!):blushing: , topped the portions with mozzerella cheese, beef crumbles and pico de gallo (tomatoes, onions, parsley, and spices) and then popped them in the oven! I tell you, that was some good stuff!:drinker: I guess the heat from the oven made the pita bread "crisp" but it tasted like thin pizza, without the sauce!!!
If anyone else tries it, let me know how you like it! Oh, and share your variations if you want to!

I buy whole wheat nan (indian flat bread) at Trader Joes. Top with organic pizza sauce, cheese for the kids, veggies for me. Pop in the toaster oven, super simple fast and yummy.
I will try your recipie for sure tho!:flowerforyou:0 -
those remind me of those pizza snackers they have at Olgas, only im sure your way of making them is wayyyy healthier!! haha0
