just signed up

I'm on day two and I'm loving this site. I have been on the HMR weight loss program since Sept 24th 2013 and have since lost 78 lbs. I haven't exercised in years not even walking and now I'm running a 5K a month. I walk 4 miles 5 days a week and run 4 miles 4 times a week. I hope this record keeping will really show me where I need to work on and show me my strengths and weaknesses.

    you should. when i first started at 285 lbs I couldn't even walk to the end of the block. but now I'm running 4 miles. somedays are harder than others, but I just continue on and rest at the end of my run not during my run.

    I'm running the hot chocolate run on Mar 23 in down town. and I'm also running the Pole to Pole run in Sea World April 6th. hopefully I'll see you at one. I have 5k's lined up from now until aug. lol I'm addicted to running.
  • that is so awesome.....I think if I tried to run any further than to the end of the block and back, I would keel right over and flop around on the sidewalk like a fish out of water, gasping for breath.....it wouldn't be a pretty sight!!!.....you go!!! fantastic job!!!:)

    thank you. but you can do it. I never thought I would feel this way but I'm really addicted to the high I get from running. esp when i'm done and i cool down. omg it doesn't get any better than that.

    btw, i just started running in Dec of 2013.

    Great success so far! Congrats! This site will definately help you with your food tracking after a while it will become second nature to think about what you are eating. Great work so far and good luck on your future success! :drinker:
