I would add more fresh vegetables or frozen cooked vegetables. Also, you have quite a bit of packaged processed food. Maybe get rid of the things like Mott's applesauce & swap them for something else. Make your own popcorn. I'm just not a fan off all of the processed stuff.

I guess it would be really helpful to know what your goals are before criticizing anything in it.

    On...? Please be specific.

I just noticed you're not eating to your calories goals.

    Whats your weight?

Looks like far too few calories, too little fat, and too little protein.

I follow the suggestions of a minimum of .3 grams of fat per pound of bodyweight, 1 gram of protein per pound, and fill in the rest how you wish.

It looks like the majority of your calories are from carbs. You get more calories from sugar than you get from protein. I would never be able to stick to that diet.

I try to make my carbs equal my protein at each meal. If my carbs get too high, I start having cravings. If my sugar in particular gets too high, the cravings drive me to great excesses of other carbs.

Like others on this thread, I suggest more proteins. You seem to get plenty of fruit, and can probably cut back to 1/2 cup of each instead of a full cup of each.

Of course, what works for each person is a little different. Best wishes in finding the combination that is best for you.

Thank you for the feedback. Just started watching sugar today. I don't eat to the max on days I don't work out. Goal is to lose 64 pounds.

    Weight is 262

There's no need to watch sugar unless you have a medical issue that forces you to. Sugar is just a carb, and you don't have to cut back on fruit. Ever. Well, unless eating a lot of carbs is keeping you from getting enough fat and protein. Then you might want to watch it. But that depends on your personal goals.

Yep get enough protein, watch the simple carbs,, don't worry about natural sugar in fruit, eat lots of veggies and eat your calories. I lost weight at every step MFP gave me with 3-4 days a week of exercise. I never ate my exercise calories back, but I always ate my daily allotted calories.

Eat up to the calorie goal or to within 100 calories of it Goals are meant to be hit - in football, soccer, basketball and hockey getting to the goal line is the only way to score. You can eat back exercise or not, that's up to you. More protein added to what you are eating would add a few of those calories. Add a Greek yogurt to breakfast and eat a larger burger - or two small ones. I don't care how much processed food you eat, but I want you to eat the calorie goal that MFP says eat. I lost 40 pounds trying to follow my own advice; my sister is better at following it and weighs more than you and has lost 26 or 27 since November. It works and it works without your having to eat less than your calorie goals.:drinker:

When you set your goals up in MFP, your deficit is already there so that you can eat up to your calorie limit so there is no reason to eat below it. If you exercise, you should also eat back a portion of your exercise calories to properly fuel your body.

Love the panera! Had to quit going there because I'd go hog wild on the calories each time. I like the idea to split the meal between lunch and dinner. Even the lunch pick twos can be very calorific when I don't watch my choices - which was everytime!

Updated my goals, so my calories have changed. I am watching my sugar, because my fasting sugar was 86. It has been creeping up. Not to worried about sugar in fruit. More all the candy an sweet treats I was eating.

So for example if I eat 1400 calories, and then burn 200 working out. Do I eat those 200 calories back?

Yes! I started here at around 262, lost most of my weight eating 1800 calories + whatever I earned from exercise. Try to reach your calorie goal :flowerforyou:
