Completely new to having to work to lose weight!

I have never in my life had to lose weight so I have no idea what I'm doing or if what I'm doing is right. We plan on trying of r another baby this Summer so I would like to lose as close to 30 lbs as I can before that happens. Then during the (hopeful) pregnancy it will be keeping healthy instead of giving in to my every whim. Then once again, after the pregnancy, it will be losing the weight. Hopefully sooner than a year after he's born like this time! Denial is a pain. :)
