Lol ,everyones getting on the band wagon. First, it was John Goodman, the actor who played Dan Connors ,the father, in Roseanne

Then Drew Carey , of the Drew Carey show, and now host of Price is Right, and now our favorite villian, Dr. Hannibal Lector, favorite mad doctor of the movie Silence of the Lambs

Go figure.......wonder if hes still trying to impress Agent Clarice Starling, lol............I guess hes giving up that "chiante wine and fava beans", for something more healtier, lol.......my favorite line in that movie

Hannibal Lector to Agent Staling ; "A census taker once tried to test me. I ate his liver with some fava beans and a nice chianti.

here is the link about Dr. Lector.......I guess if he can do it, we all can..........Lloyd

i guess we can. I think he looked better before and now he looks older. But I'm always thinking my age is working against me but if he can lose the weight at HIS age, I have no excuse. I do worry about looking much older after losing weight. Some people look younger, but I think that's younger people. Who knows; Thanks for the post!!

haha! Wow, what a lot of sick jokes are running through my mind right now!

I liked that one part in the movie, near the end where the little boy wanted a bite of Hannibal's food, on the airplane. LOL!

Um, he looks worse because he eats 800 calories a day PLUS exercises. The man is going to kill himself.

wow, I was kinda thinking the same thing too.......that Drew, John and Anthony kinda " aged" as well......

Drew shows it, and hes only in his early 50s, John is in his late 50s , and he really aged, and youre right about Anthony. His face looked younger.......wonder what up with that?

Could it be, that the fat filled in all the wrinkles, and that they didnt really show because of the fat? I know it sounds kinda weird, but now that they lost so much weight, esp in the face, that they kinda aged? Lloyd
  • Yeah when the fat is gone the skin looks more wrinkly.

I dont think that 800 cals a day with powerwalking and gym is a good way to go about things. That just seems like he is not eating nearly enough.

Ya, 800 cals is RIDICULOUS!!! Hollywood is such a bad example.

Yep, losing a lot of weight when you are "older" does age you. Unfortunately. But you get lots of other benefits from the loss.

    Now, about that plastic surgery....

I'm glad Lector is keeping off the Chianti.

If anybody ever seen Meet Joe Black, I loved the part where he was doing sit ups in his room. Forever young.
  • oh thank goodness because he would for sure do himself in at only 800

Keep in mind that all these guys are losing weight FAST and not (possibly) in the most healthy manner. The people I know that have had gastric surgery also have that look. The skin hasn't caught up, and in some cases will never be the same as it was. Those that can afford it will have some sort of touch up done. I hope that they can live with their new lifestyle and stay healthy.

In one of the comments someone says the article has a typo and that he was taking in 1,800 calories a day, not 800. Here's the link to another article about it with the correct calorie count.

I think he has more color to his skin now and he looks great, just a little older. But that happens when you lose the fullness of the fat in your face and you age two years between photographs.
