To Get A Fit Bit? And Which One?

I was thinking of getting a fit bit to track calories etc, but reading some reviews i'm now not sure. I've heard it's not good for some times of exercise. (Cross Trainer etc). I also don't have an iphone to sync it to. What are people's thoughts on them? And which one do you prefer and why? I'm leaning towards the flex. But would love to hear other people's opinions.

    I have the fitbit one and love it. You don't need an iphone to sync with. It is good for any step based activities which works fine for me because I don't typically do a lot of cardio or strength training. It gives you a calorie burn goal based on your input. I, for most days, do not go to bed until that goal is reached. When that happens my other goals are met.
