PB2 Question

I've been very interested in this product after hearing a lot about it. I checked out the shop on Bellplantation.com and it seems kind of expensive ($12+ for shipping). Here are my questions for those who use this product or have tried it

1. Have you tried the chocolate kind? Is it any good?
2. Is it worth the money?
(turns out to be around $5 a jar after shipping)
3. Are there any other places to get it that you have found?
4. Do you feel like you get enough nutrition from it on your food tracker? I noticed the protein is significantly lower when compared to regular peanut butter

Thanks for any help!

I bought the PB2 and really like it. I have considered trying the Chocolate, but never got around to it.
I think I purchased a special because I bought several containers and split the cost with a friend, so it didn't seem so much.
It really does taste like peanut butter, but does lack the consistency of peanut butter. However, I like it so much more than the low fat/fat free pb on the market.
  • I  PB2!

I found it at my local grocery store (in the Midwest - Price Chopper) in the organic section! It's $3.99 in the store and from what I've found online it's about the same... http://store.bellplantation.com/PB2_Powdered_Peanut_Butter_s/3.htm

I think it's an AMAZING DEAL! Measuring it out, you mix two tbsp of the PB2 with ONE tbsp of water, and it's about the size of 3-4 tbsp when prepared... you get more --> And that's only 45 calorie!!! I didn't think that the protein was that much lower... but the fat is low also, I think if I remember right is about 3g of fat.

I love it and HIGHLY recommend it

I've also tried the Chocolate... I like it too. It's super delish on a graham cracker with some fat free marshmallows!!

    BUMP to check out later.
  • FitNutz is great too. It comes in Chunky and Smooth. I got them at LowCardUFoods.com (I went to the store thought), but if you use the word twitter, you get 10% off. Plus there are tons of other goodies on there too with their nutritional info. You can also try Linda'sDietDelites.com!
  • Hope this isn't a super old topic  I found it via the search engine!

Anyway, my question is, is there anyway to get PB2 or FitNutz shipped internationally? I would prefer PB2 because I like the packaging and website better (FitNutz site looks like a huge ad! But they do have more variety), but the website won't ship outside of US or Canada. The FitNutz site quoted me a US$45 shipping fee:noway: and I haven't found them for sale on any other site that would ship internationally :grumble:

I  peanut butter SO much, but would like to cut back on the cals and fat from it! I am located in Taiwan, if that helps any

I bought mine from Netrition.com for 3.99 a jar and 4.95 shipping and received it the next day via ups.
  • Thanks for the link! Shipping would be $12+ for me :frown: Making it an almost $17 jar of peanut butter :noway: but that's still a lot better than $45! I may have to just go with less peanut butter then :frown: Thanks anyway!
