How is your goal for carbs, proteins,fats ect set? Can you change them? How do you work out what is the right balance is for you?

Mine are 30 carbs 35 protein 35 fat. My fat is always a bit higher. You can change them at the goals tab. About 1 gram per lb if lean body mass for protein. .5-.8 grams per lb of lean mass for fats. Carbs are remainder. The group eat train progress has much better explanation.0

Weight loss takes a whole lot of trial & error to find what works for you.
I use MFP's default protein & fiber goals as minimums and ignore carbs & fats. But if you ask 100 MFPers, you'll get 100 different answers.
