Protein

Hey everyone! I am not a big meat eater. So I have invested in protein shakes. I have the ISO-1000 haven't started taking it yet. I am just curious if anyone has any tips as to when is a good time to drink it. I'm gonna drink one shake before I work out. But when would be a good time to drink it on the days I don't work out. I'm not trying to build muscle. I'm just trying to tone up.

Drink them whenever is convenient for you. The "toned" look comes from reducing the fat around the muscle and in turn allowing the muscle definition show. Protein shakes won't make you gain muscle mass unless you are doing a strength training program designed for muscle gain while eating in a caloric surplus.
If you are trying to lose weight, eating an adequate amount of protein and doing some form of strength/resistance training will help maintain the muscle mass you currently have and push the majority of weight loss from fat. The more muscle mass you maintain, the more likely you will get the "toned" look you are wanting.0 -
