I follow them on facebook and instagram, and the results posted seem to be pretty good.
Anyone here tried it with good results?
What does it taste like?
Also, which tea did you try?

I'm actually considering it too but from the SkinnyTea. com.
I want to unclog my system and in the process lose some weight too.
Waiting for the other comments!0 -
Lol.. I'm in.0

I do not see the benefit, if you want to 'unclog' your system have some lemon water and up your fibre intake (chia seeds/ pshyllum husk ) and it will be a lot cheaper0

Or more fruit and veggies too.0 -
I did try the lemon water first thing in the morning for about a month and I didn't feel particularly different.
Although I might look up the chia seeds/pshyllum husk effect.0 -
From their website:
"SkinnyMe tea is a powerful mix of natural health and weight loss ingredients, that helps you lose that unwanted weight quickly, without restricting your calorie intake or drastically changing your exercise regime.
While we do have a free eating plan (available here), it is there to optimize the detoxification process and does not require you to restrict your daily food intake (just the type of foods you are eating)."
1. Ooh, ~natural health and weight loss ingredients~? Besides this sentence making it sound like the tea contains health loss, and weight loss ingredients, what ingredients are they?
2. One paragraph says you can lose weight without cutting calories (false).
3. The next paragraph says something very different - that you don't have to cut the amount of food you eat, just the type. (true)
I didn't really *need* proof that something like this is BS, but if you do, there it is.0 -
Sounds like a waste of money.
Your body does just great with detoxifying itself. Early on in life I invested in a Liver, some lungs and a set of kidneys and they've done me well so far.
As a post above has stated make sure your getting your fiber (the body doesn't need massive amounts of it), just make sure you're focusing on soluble fiber(most veggies, oatmeal) and not insoluble (i.e grain - all brans a culprit).
I've copied below a PDF link to FODMAP category, which might help.
Save your money on the tea and spend it on some funner things.

Ingredient list from this on sale $14.35 for 30 tea bag rip off....First you do not need to drink or take anything to detox your body, your body does that just fine on its own if it doesn't go see a doctor. Stop looking for gimmicks or quick fixes and just get serious about logging your calories and being in a reasonable calorie deficit. It's a much cheaper and way more effective way, plus you get to hold on to your money!
SKINNY ME™ TEA Ingredients:
1) LOCUST PLANT (Cassia Agustifolia): Tones and restores the digestive system as it cleanses the colon. (Makes you Poop) if you have problems with that go eat Taco Bell or White Castle much cheaper and tastier alternative)
2) MALVA VERICELLATA (High Mallow): properties that relieve irritations and promote healing when taking internally. It is commonly used for constipation and mild stomach disorders. (Makes you Poop read above)
3) GYNOSTEMMA (Pentaphyllum): Leaves taste sweet and can be eaten as a vegetable. It brings weight-loss effect into play through the regulation of body fat metabolism; it does not affect the appetite or loosen the bowels. (Not doing a damn thing but making it taste better)0 -
This tea contains a harsh stimulant laxative. Use it too often, and your bowel can become lose the ability to expel waste on it's own. Treat it like you would ExLax or any other laxative.0

I'll just leave this here...0 -
Side effects of SMT and similar diet teas:
• Bowel disruption
• Dehydration
• Diarrhea
• If you take the tea after your contraceptive pill it can become less affective, as you poop it out. That’s actually on their website.
Honestly I did try it once, not that brand but a “diet” tea. All I got was stomach cramps and yep, diarrhea. Quick fixes don’t fix anything.0 -
Sounds like you'd be better off just drinking green or herbal tea; at least they'll hydrate you!0
-
just because it says Skinny doesn't mean you'll be skinny by drinking it!
It's a bunch of bull0 -
I bought into it about a yr and half ago.. waste of money and time.. It tasted really gross too. Not worth your money or time. Just stay within your recommended macros and drink a lot of water (shoot for a gallon a day) and, stay active and you will see results.0

I'd rather have despicable me tea

I have! There are a few companies selling different skinny me teas. I use the one from waytohealth.us.
They seem to be a good company. I used other stuff that was loose tea but that was a hassle to make.
Way to health skinny me tea uses teabags..0
