Has anyone done the Electric Run?

I'm sure there are varying opinions on the merits of "fun runs" and whether they're worth doing at all, but I think they're a great way for newbies like me to get into running. Has anyone done the Electric Run 5k? How did you like it? I'm worried it would be too overstimulating, especially if strobe lights are involved... I'm not a fan of strobe lights.
