Hiya everyone,
I've come back to MLP because my slimming support group meetings just weren't working for me. I kept dancing with the same 3 lbs over and over again but paying (I think) too much money for these big corporations. I've now cancelled my account.
I have for the last month been trying the 5:2 diet, along with counting calories on my 'non fast days' and it's kicked me into gear on losing weight. My husband (he's gluten free now) and I have now cut out white breads, pastries, cakes etc....we eat much more healthier now and have both lost weight. We may have the odd 'treat' but we won't think we're doing a bad thing if we do have it. It's better to say "I can have that if I want to, but I don't want or need it".
I think I read once that it 'takes 5 weeks for something to become a habit'....this looks to be a habit for life...xx
