    Soul has purpose, I go with yah.

    Definitely yah on the soul, but I don't think everyone has one. but I think those who do have one, go on in some way.

    Absolutely. My mom had a near death experience when I was born, and the reason she was told, that she had to come back, has come true. How else could she have known what the future would hold for her?

    yeah, nope to afterlife. a friend recently told me (never heard this before, didn't ask for citation) that teachings on the afterlife dwindled (ceased?) in the dark ages because because so many suffering peasants committed suicide to reach a better place...?
