How many miles do you walk a day?
Do you lose weight?
I'm trying to figure out how many miles should I walk each day to lose weight.

    I usually walk fom 6 to 7 miles a day. Today i walked 18594 steps so far, for me thats 8.16 miles. that is all i do as far as exercise and since starting my fitness pal last jan, 4 2013, i have lost as of today 104.5 pounds and on a 1200 calorie diet. i also have a fitbit one that i love and inspires me to walk as well.today is a little unusual but try to get to at least 12000 - 15000 steps a day...

    I don't walk everyday, because I also swim, but I would say at least an hour a day. You can also vary your speed or terain--hilly vs flat. Yes, I've lost weight walking, and I always log it in my exercise.
