How accurate is the 5 week notice?

I am wondering how accurate members have found the notice that says you would weigh this much if every day was like this? Is it estimating high, low, (by how much) or have you found it fairly accurate.

Not even close. But then I never eat the exact same thing while doing the exact same amount of activity every day for 5 weeks.0

If I can guarantee you one thing, it's that you won't weigh whatever it tells you in 5 weeks. You may weigh more or less. But the purpose of that figure isn't to make an exact prediction, but instead to give you an idea of how continued progress will pay off in real loss if you stick with it.
It's not a magic eight ball though.0 -
Well that all depends on how accurate your estimated TDEE, calorie intake and exercise is.0

Mine always estimates too high by about 7 to 8 pounds.
Edit: I just changed my settings from losing 0.5 pounds/week to maintaining, because that's what I've been doing for the past three months. I'm curious to see if this number changes tonight.0 -
I'm sure it's close, but you won't necessarily lose exactly a pound for every 3500 calorie deficit. Your weight is composed of more than fat.
Also, I soooo cannot eat the same thing every day And most people don't. It's a guideline, not a guarantee.0 -
Not at all, mine currently tells me I'll be aroung 139-141 lbs in five weeks. Realistically I MIGHT make 146lbs0
