Hi ya'll
I am 5"3 and around 190 pounds. I have been steadily gaining weight since highschool (where I was also overweight). It's something I feel like I could have controlled but instead turned to food for comfort. Being fat has always been my excuse to hide away from the world and take attention off of me in public. I am tired of beathing deep when climbing 4 sets of stairs. I am tired of looking into the mirror and squeezing the extra fat on my arms. Also, tired of my boyfriend grabbing the fat on my arms or legs. I am tired of taking way too much effort to shop for clothing
As a slimmer version of me I'd love to wear mini skirts and sleevless tops. Not having to search the sale racks for size 16's and instead pulling out a 2 to a 6. That's my dream. I's be more confident and love myself more. I wouldnt feel like I don't belong in conversations or social situations.
IT seems stupid, but if I love the way I look it'll allow me to be brave and feel free.
So that's what I am doing on here, reclaiming my life from misery and low self-esteem.

Hi!
I am 5'7" with a BMI > 40. I am prediabetic and very motivated to change things for the positive. Looking forward to getting to know anyone interested in social exchanges and support both ways. I think this site will be very beneficial to me.0 -
We have almost the same weight and of the same age! I admit that those are good motivations for getting fit, but more than fitting into beautiful clothes (which I admit I fancy too), do it more for your body! ^^v
We can go through this together.!
